We built an outside house and garden for Marvin and Becky this morning. Varsha did a series of drawings of the Bubble Guppies when they are grown up.

We raced down the hill for Varsha’s optometrist appointment. She said Varsha’s correction of her focus issue is “exceptional”. That was nice. We went for gelato to celebrate and because it was so hot.

We drove out to Mossman Gorge and caught the bus to the water. We had a picnic and a swim. The water was so clear it was like looking through a magnifying glass. There were lots of quite big fish in the water. They got really excited when we dropped a March fly in. Varsha made a water fairy house.

Laxmi fell asleep in the car on the way home and Varsha and John went to the pub for chicken kebab dinner.
