breakfast before we left the Palm Tree caravan park.  <\/p>\n<p>We filled up with diesel at a very strange petrol station with a mountain of cars behind it on one side and a radio station set up on the other. Varsha took some photos. We bought a bag of delicious lychees there. We also worked out how much diesel we are using and made a budget for our trip. <br \/>\nVarsha is recording our rating of the overall experience of where we have stayed. We worked out the average of our ratings. <br \/>\nWe didn\u2019t get very far before we had to have ice cream at the Frosty Mango. Their soursop ice cream is so good.<\/p>\n<p>In Townsville we went to look at our old house and were surprised to see they had cut the big old mango trees down. <\/p>\n<p>We had a picnic in the park next to Varsha\u2019s old preschool. <\/p>\n<p>Charters Towers is charming. We drove around looking at the caravan parks, what was on at the drive in and going to the supermarket for dinner supplies. <\/p>\n<p>The Dalrymple Caravan Park has a jumping pillow and lovely soft green grass.
