We caught 5 connecting trains through farmlands down to the coast. <\/p>\n<p>The rice fields are turning yellow and persimmons are ripe on the trees.<\/p>\n<p>Laxmi has been playing Slug Terra on the iPad and Varsha has been making pictures in This is Sand. <\/p>\n<p>John\u2019s old friend Seiko picked us up at Owase Station. John used to live in Owase 20 years ago. Seiko-san took us back to his little village, Mikisato. We had dinner with his family. We were really hungry. Hatomi-san made fried chicken and rice. Laxmi and Varsha were so happy. <\/p>\n<p>Seiko-san drove us to our guest house in the next village along the coast, Mikiura.
