We slept in a bit after all our efforts to get away. The new tent was really comfortable. Laxmi read to us about dinosaurs. It rained quite a lot in the night and in the morning. There were lots of March flies and some men came with a really loud digger. Packing up was challenging with the wet tent and when we went for a swim at Babinda Boulders the swimming area was closed. We went to the cafe in Babinda and had a slushy and a cornetto and a lemon meringue pie and felt better. We went to the really big op shop and the spooky heritage listed public toilet that was an air raid shelter during the Second World War. We drove on to Josephine Falls and had a lovely swim in the rainforest. There were lots of tourists. Some Japanese girls had a giant yellow blow up duck. We got to Ingham and stopped at the Palm Tree Caravan Park. We loved the pool and the camp kitchen with a stove just like home and the hot showers with fabulous retro tiles.
