Varsha planted some seeds to grow some plants she can make into tea like peppermint and valerian and nasturtiums.
Varsha and Laxmi and Kiko and I have decided it’s good to get into the habit of going for a walk in the morning.
Michael Quinn, the storyteller, came and had a fabulous session with the homeschoolers at the hall. He knows how to speak Tjapukai and told some of their stories and taught us some words. He also told two Inuit stories and an Irish one.
Grandma and Grandpa arrived in the morning on their way home from Japan. Cosmo broke has arm in the afternoon at gymnastics. So I took Varsha and Thiango to the youth group gathering at Davies Creek. It was nice and sunny even though it had been really cold at night. Grandma and Grandpa and Laxmi came out for a picnic lunch too.
Varsha and Laxmi were very happy with the breakfasts they made. Then they made tea and toast over a fire.
We watched an interesting (and sad) movie about William Buckley.
Varsha has been drawing with a very fine pen and water colour pencils.
