We have been busy getting ready to go to Japan. We had dinner at Kerima, been to visit Melissa and Tashi and Astrid and see the progress of their house and went down to the Opal shop for presents for Nanaka and Miyu. We have been counting down the days till we go.

We got up very early this morning and drove to Mareeba. We dropped the car at the mechanic and caught a taxi to the bus stop. We caught the bus to the airport. Clawdeen admired the lovely morning light. We saw balloons flying above Mareeba.

We got the the airport with plenty of time to eat some breakfast, do some drawings and look around.

The flight to Osaka from Cairns is about 7 hours. Varsha watched the new Tinkerbell movie and is having a nap, Laxmi is watching Bananas in Pyjamas and doing drawings. We are all a bit sleepy!
