John had a meeting in Atherton on his birthday. We all went with him and went shopping for food for his party. It was so cold and wet when we got there we had to go to the op shop to get something warmer to wear. We also found some things for the costumes for Varsha’s movie.
We stopped for chocolate eclairs at a bakery with amazing decorated cakes on display. The girls were hungry and had sausage rolls after that and iced cupcakes after that.
We went shopping at the supermarket until it was time to get John. We took him to Yuruga nursery on the way home and he picked out some plants. Varsha found him a lovely water grass to grow beside the pond.
We came home to cook up burritos and churros for his party. Waratah happened to be driving home to Cooktown and stayed over for John’s celebration. Cat and Will and Thiango and Cosmo dressed up and joined in too.
