We drove to Murwillumbah to look at a house grandma and grandpa are interested in. We met Uncle Stu and Katie there. It was lots of fun running down the slope on the lawn.

Afterwards we went to a park for a picnic. Uncle Stu brought grandpa’s new folding bike. We had an early birthday cake for Varsha’s birthday.

We looked inside the interpretive centre and checked out the maps and the beautiful 360 degree painted diorama of the caldera.

Grandpa took the kids to see the cockie that appeared in a Toyota ad. He jumped up and down and had two different voices.

We saw lots of interesting artwork at the Tweed Regional Gallery including the new Margaret Olley wing with it’s installation of the interior of her house. There was an activity where iPads were available for drawing still lifes.

We drove to Jen and Nic’s to stay for the night.
