Varsha built Howl’s Moving Castle out of Duplo and played a funny game with Laxmi and John using the Fuzzy Felt people.
John and Varsha started building a chook dome using Linda Woodrow’s instructions. It goes with the mandala vegetable garden they marked out a while ago.
We went down to the shop to buy some milk and honey. There was no honey so we bought treats and went to the playground to eat them. Melissa and Tashi and Astrid were there. They had met a family travelling with 3 boys, and they all played hide and seek. Varsha was very funny making creative disguises. The photo shows Varsha and Astrid being sticks and the two boys being stones.
We picked up magic wands and practised spelling a few words in the air before Varsha conjured up a motorbike with sidecar and zoomed home up the hill with Laxmi.
We had a huge session with Harry Potter before we went to sleep; the thrilling conclusion to The Prisoner of Askaban. We got up to the last chapter.
