John came with us to Mossman for Laxmi’s dance class and to the Junction cafe for morning tea. He dropped us off at the beach in Port Douglas while he went to a meeting in Cairns.

We had a lovely time building sandcastles. We walked up to the sushi train for lunch. We saw a lovely lilly pond outside a hotel as we were going there. They have a fantastic aquarium in the middle of the sushi train. We looked up what kind of animal has the biggest eyeballs. Turns out it is the colossal squid with eyeballs the size of dinner plates.

We went and bought me a new pair of sunnies after I stepped on mine, a present for Thiango and some warm pyjamas and socks for Varsha.

John returned and took Varsha to gymnastics and Laxmi to the library. We watched the Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets movie after dinner
