It was hard to leave Stradbroke. We said goodbye to Dani and Andreas and Sofia and Joshua who go back to Italy soon. Gill and Elsie and Iris caught the bus and the ferry back together with us. Varsha suggested our next holiday should be in Italy.
John picked us up in Cleveland and we went to Varsity Lakes to pick up Nina from the train. We had fish and chips in Tweed. There were some very naughty seagulls who stole our fish. I was looking for seagull feathers because I have a friend who wants a painting of one. We caught one of the cheeky ones coming in for our food and had a good look at it’s feathers. Varsha took some photos of the birds.
